James W. Davis, DMD
Dr. Davis completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine(D.M.D.)from Southern Illinois University in 1980, graduating at the top of his class. His residency in Periodontics was completed at the University of Tennessee and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis Tennessee. He is been in the practice of Periodontics in Springfield, Illinois since 1986. Dr. Davis and his wife have four children. |

Chris and Jane - Front desk
They help patients with phone calls and appointments, help with insurance paperwork, and set up financial arrangements. If you have any questions about the office, ask them. They are very helpful. |

Judy, Robin, Laura - Periodontal Assistants
They will work with you during your examination and treatment making sure you are comfortable. They will take any x-rays that are needed for a diagnosis. They also run our infection control program, cleaning the rooms and sterilizing every instrument that we use. |

Bev, Mary and Robin - Dental Hygienists
Preventive and maintenance care is essential for the success of periodontal therapy. These individuals have the skill and experience to perform maintenance treatments on patients who have had periodontal disease in order to prevent reoccurrence of the disease and to maintain any questionable teeth for as long as possible. |
